Thank you, Will Farrell.

I don’t often write about personal things here, but I have to share this.  When I was a kid, it was not common for me to have control over the B&W TV with 3 borthers and 2 sisters in the house.  But when I came in to some luck on Saturday mornings, I agressivly searched the four channels for my all time favorite show, Land of the Lost.  The only problem with that Sid and Marty Krofft Show was that it was rotated around with H.R. Puffenstuff and another fav, Sigmund and the Sea Monster.  I had to be doubly lucky to catch it.  You might wonder what made L.O.T.L. standout in my mind?  One word…Sleestaks.  Oh yes, before New York was terrorized by a mostly unseen lizard, Sleestaks roamed the earth trying to make life difficult for Ranger Rick Marshall and his children, Will and Holly.  I don’t have to mention that they terrorized my life ,too.

Well, my past has a future in Will Farrell.  He is taped to star in a theater version of this classic show.  And the Sleestaks look perfect (See Pic!).  Equally exciting is that director Brad Silberling (Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events) is set to direct.  Will Farrell be Will or Rick?

Rejoice!
